News of the SIA's 'Rebuilding Lives Through Sport Scheme'.

The Spinal Injuries Association have just passed on news of their superb 'Rebuilding Lives Through Sport' scheme'.

SIA's Gwen Pearson tells us that this grant giving scheme is designed specifically to support grass-roots wheelchair based sports, and the SIA are now inviting wheelchair sports clubs and societies from across the UK to apply for funding from the RLTS programme.

Over the next three years, this brand- new initiative will see approximately £500,000 distributed as grants to organisations actively involved in the promotion and facilitation of paralympic sports where wheelchair users are active participants.

If you are a member of, or know of, a club or society who may benefit from help with funding, then please pass on this email.

Applicants will need to check they fit within the required criteria. For more information and an application form if applicable, please click here:

If you would like more information about RLTS or further advice about completing the application form, please feel free to call Gwen Pearson on : 0845 678 6633 ext 220 or via Email : g.pearson@spinal.co.uk

And we hope that this may be of some real (literally!) value to some of you.
