Christchurch Gun Club is a welcoming, warm and friendly club. Catering for many shooting disciplines including full-bore, military and sporting rifle, black powder and clay pigeon shooting.
Our programme usually includes a great mix with 20 shots with .22, 10 shots .38 underlever, 10 shots .38 long barrelled revolver, then 10 shots with semi auto shotgun - all at steel plates from 25 yards.
Thow in some air pistol practise and you have a remarkable variety of shooting experiences.
The range is out doors with some cover which is located in the middle of a nature reserve and the car parking is situated conveniently close to the range.
Please note that there are chemical toilets in a portacabin on site which may be accessible for some wheelchairs but with difficulty (no grab rails - so please be prepared.)
Friends and family of participants are also welcome to join in but they will be required to pay the full fee to the gun club on the day.
Please arrive at 12pm for a prompt 12.30 start. The afternoon also includes a complimentary barbeque consisting of bacon and burger rolls and drinks.
We welcome complete novices and or the more experienced, but whatever your ability we are certain that it will be a day of fun and discovery for all.
